New Construction

An expert eye is required for a successful home build. Known for our tailored and sophisticated spaces, we work on your behalf to make sure the result is a collected, contemporary and timeless design. Our team oversees the entire process from start to finish in order to ensure a seamless experience.

Renovations & Remodels

Remodeling a home can be an overwhelming experience with many layers and decisions to be made. We will work with you in taking your vision and goals to the next level for a home that looks cohesive and feels unique to you. We offer expertise in finish selections, such as countertops, tile, plumbing and lighting fixtures, along with bespoke cabinetry and more. Our technical skills allow us to collaborate with architects and builders for your project.

Full Service Design

We offer furnishing services for clients who have a complete space and are in need of turning it into a tailored and cohesive space where no layer has gone unthought. Our team will start with sourcing pieces to fit both your space and personality. From here we will take these selections and see through the procurement process with our vendors and workrooms, working on the backend to ensure all is properly received, delivered and installed for the “Big Reveal” of your new space.

Styling & Decor

The final touch needed to ensure your space feels “complete”. Styling with accessories curated for you, our team will leave your space feeling layered, refined, and ready to enjoy.

Art Selection & Acquistion

Whether you’ve started your collection or are looking to, we work closely with galleries to find the right pieces for you. We will explore artists and medians to determine what types of pieces you are drawn to, and from here will make sure each piece in your collection has an intentional place in your home.

PHASE ONE

Design

Each project starts with a consultation where we will meet with you to tour your space and learn about your project goals. After our proposal has been approved, our contract signed and the retainer received we will begin the design process. We will take site measurements and photos to help inform our drawings and design. We will schedule design meetings where drawings, furnishings, fabrics and materials will be presented to provide a visual for how your new space will look and feel.

PHASE TWO

Procurement

Once selections are made and the design finalized, we move into the ordering phase of the project. Our team oversees the ordering of all selections working on the backend to track lead times, coordinate all deliveries, item inspections, and any needed furniture assembly with our receiving warehouse prior to installation.

PHASE THREE

Installation

The moment you have been waiting for! We like to call this “The Big Reveal”. Once all construction is complete and all items have been received by our warehouse, we will schedule the installation of your new furnishings. Our team will place and style all pieces so that your home is turnkey ready for you! Once we are finished we will invite you into your new space for our final walkthrough for feedback and review of any outstanding items that remain before closing out the project. From here we’ll send you a care and maintenance guide and leave you to enjoy your new space.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE

Client Inquiry Process


Step 1.

Complete the Client Inquiry Form.
We will start by having you fill-out our client inquiry form. Upon submission of this online form, the client will be prompted to book a Discovery Call. This gives us an opportunity to learn more about your project and what your needs will be.

Step 2.

Discovery Call.
Maison Blanc Design offers a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation. This allows us to connect on your project, the services we offer, and what our process looks like. During our call we will review project scope and any important details you’d like to share.

Step 3.

Consultation.
Following our “Discovery Call”, you will receive an email with a link to purchase and book your one hour consultation where we will walk through your space together. During our time we will plan to review all project needs and define project scope. We can review your inspiration photos, drawings you may have, and any other important information you would like to share with us. We will review the MBD process and services we offer. During this consultation, plan on us gathering all necessary information and photographs in order to create our project proposal from here.

Note: This is a 1 hour long meeting that does require a flat fee at the time of booking. Consultations include a custom proposal tailored to your needs and scope of work. Please keep in mind that we love to visit local SF Bay Area clients, but if you live further away, plan on your consultation being virtual!

Step 4.

Proposal & Contract.
Sent within one week following the consultation. This will outline our design fee, estimated furnishings investment, project timeline and payment schedule.

Step 5.

On Site Measure & Photos.
Once our initial proposal is approved, contracts are signed, retainer is paid, the real work begins. We will meet onsite to take all needed measurements of the spaces within scope along with any existing furniture or items to be considered. Once we have gathered these details we will be able to create drawings and space plans for your review.

Step 6.

Design Meetings.
A series of design meetings will be scheduled where we will review drawings, furnishings, and material samples in a visual and tangible presentation that will help give you a real sense of how your new home will feel and function. Leading up to our meetings we will be sourcing all needed materials, textiles, design elements, fixtures and furnishings to ensure no element is overlooked.

Step 7.

Ordering.
Once all selections have been made and the design is finalized we will move into our procurement phase of the project. This phase goes beyond ordering as our team works on the backend to track lead times, coordinate all deliveries, item inspections, and any needed furniture assembly with our receiving warehouse prior to installation. With this oversight we are able to handle every backend detail ensuring high-quality service so you can sit back and enjoy the experience!

Step 8.

Installation.
The moment you have been waiting for! We like to call this “The Big Reveal”. Once all construction is complete and all items have been received by our warehouse, we will schedule the installation of your new furnishings.
