House in the Trees

MARIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

Nestled in a redwood forest, you will find our House In The Trees project. Walking in you truly feel as if you’re living amongst the trees as they envelope you inside this four-story A-frame Marin County home. Given the architecture of the home and its natural surroundings, it was important to play with the ever changing light that filtered in while designing with a color palette and rich textures that were a nod to the home’s forest surroundings.

My clients were looking for a stylish refresh that also enhanced their lifestyle. Their home had to function around daily family needs, but still lend itself to entertaining and game nights. The goal was an elegant, collected home that was also still comfortable.
