Thanksgiving Tablescape

Every Thanksgiving I look forward to spending time with family and friends around the dinner table. What could be better than great conversation and a delicious meal with the ones you love? Of course for me the fun starts with setting my table since this really helps to set the tone of the meal. It’s a great time of year to pull from the natural palette seen in the Fall months. I tend to favor rich tones mixed with Earthy textures, and am not afraid of a little pattern play between my linens. I love to incorporate the colors of the changing trees within my setting and even to gather some of these elements to use for my centerpiece.

I started with this beautiful green Indian block print tablecloth and layered from here. I knew I wanted to add a gingham element given the time of year and decided to pull this in with the napkins. These were then paired with wooden napkin rings that were sculptural in form. Vintage green glassware and salad plates were used alongside sculptural candles, and woven rattan vases were added down the table’s center to create a subtle texture.

In taking the time to create these little moments, a lasting memory is made for all - Happy Thanksgiving!
